There is great beauty, mystery and wonder outside of the awareness of our ordinary states of consciousness. Many people throughout history have visited and have received wisdom from places and that exist parallel to our consensus reality. They may appear as mythological lands in the upper and lower world, as dreams or in psychedelic journeys. Accessing non-ordinary states of consciousness can help our brain make new neurological connections that allow us to have greater perception and awareness outside of our default mode network.
Intergenerational traumas, developmental wounds, oppression, life traumas, major life stressors and mental health issues all have the capacity to wire our brain and hinder the natural growth towards our highest potential in our physical, mental, and spiritual health. In orienting our selves towards more self-compassion, reaching for more support, being curious about what keeps us stuck, being open to new states of consciousness, we grow our capacity for developing more loving attachments, acknowledging our strengths, experiencing more joy, and tapping into our inner resources.
I honor that there are lineages, spiritual groups and tribes that still exist today who have learned how to access these altered (or non-ordinary) states of consciousness with methodologies passed down through their bloodlines. And I'm happy to say that accessing shamanic states of consciousness and psychedelic therapies are technologies that are accessible to so many of us who were not raised with these healing traditions. With training, practice and support for integrating your insights into your life, you can use these technologies to feel more exuberance and success in all that you do. Essentially, you'll feel more capable of expressing the fullness of you!

Meet our prescribing MD for Ketamine treatment:
Jesus I. Ramirez, MD, MSW (Dr. Zeus)
I am an Ivy-League educated and board-certified surgeon who specialized for many years in traumatic injuries, severe burns, and critical care. Witnessing extreme human suffering and the limitations of mainstream mental health led me to explore alternative paths for healing psychological wounds. I obtained a master’s in social work and professional training to practice psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. I now guide people through healing journeys of self-discovery and provide medical support for select high-end therapists in the Bay Area, including Diana Halfmann, LMFT.
I embrace the sacred nature of this work, beyond medicine and therapy.
