Training and Experience

I hold a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology (License #45031) from John F. Kennedy University and a B.A. in Psychology from UC Riverside.
My training is grounded in archetypal and transpersonal psychology. I have complimentary formal trainings in Expressive Arts, Yoga, Mindfulness, and Shamanic healing (energy work). I bring mindfulness practices into our sessions to support you to deepen and understand your present-moment experience more fully, whereby gaining clarity of your inner world, increasing your intuition and reducing anxiety. Many years of studying and practicing yoga have informed me of how to help support you to integrate the inherent health and wisdom of your body, mind, heart, and soul in our work together.

I have co-facilitated earth-honoring rituals to acknowledge changes in season and to celebrate an individual's transitions in life.

Bringing together all of these life experiences and practices, I have created an integrated way to support each person's unique process and expression of your inner world.

As a Child and Family Therapist, I’ve enjoyed my work with individual & groups of children and collaborating with families in school-based programs since 2002. I've acquired clinical experience in a range of settings: health clinics, public school-based programs, community mental health agencies, and private practice.

Supervision

I provide Supervision to Marriage and Family trainees and interns acquiring their hours towards licensure. Please reach out for more information.

Shamanic Counseling

I offer shamanic counseling (as an adjunct to psychotherapy if interested) as well as shamanic healing & divination. Please see my website Elemental Wisdom for more information about this spiritually-based counseling and alternative healing method.
